With the holiday season just round the corner, we take first looks at the Dior Beauty Holiday prints by artist Pietro Ruffo. His composition of mythical constellations and florals, inspired by Le Château de La Colle Noire – Monsieur Christian Dior’s floral paradise – invites us to look up, into the magical starry skies.
A Good Nose for Gifting
Aptly, the discovery set of three scented candles, and another comprising ten miniature perfumes have been imprinted with the artist’s world of dragons, lynxes alongside the Great Bear, Cassiopeia and other mythical creatures and cosmic constellations.
Set in delicate porcelain are three candles featuring well-loved Dior scents of Ambre Nuit, 30 Montaigne and Jardin d’Orangers. Next up, a pencil box holding ten tiny Dior perfumes that is made for those looking to switch up their scent game for the festive period. To top off the experience of unboxing, all discovery sets come in gift boxes bearing the beautiful prints of Pietro Ruffo tied up with cotton ribbon string and stamped with the House seal.
Aside from the La Collection Privée coffrets, Dior has produced several more delightful gift ideas, also bearing the new festive print of midnight blue and gold. This year’s Advent Calendar named ‘24 Dior Surprises’ comes tagged at SGD845 as an indulgent present of all of Dior’s iconic makeup and beauty treats.
The Holiday Look
The Holiday Makeup collection by Creative Director Peter Philips, is all about creating a starry and radiant look for the festivities. Enter the 5 Couleurs Couture eye palette with silvery sheens inspired by a wintry moonlit sky above La Colle Noire. Dreamt up by Philips, these two eyeshadow palettes are available in bronze and taupe (359 Cosmic Eyes) and cool tones (589 Galactic).
Two versions of the ultra-pigmented Rouge Blush offer buildable colour of either Cosmic Coral or Galactic Red to give that flush of cold cheeks. To complete this holiday glamour, a little clutch makeup case – the limited edition Rouge Dior Minaudière – holds a full size Rouge Dior lipstick in the iconic colour of 999 Velvet and three smaller refills. The Dior Holiday Rouge Dior limited-edition lipstick features stars and flowers engraved on the bullet is available in four shades with velvet, matte and satin finishes.
The Christian Dior Holiday 2022 Collection, of make-up as well as iconic items like exclusive Miss Dior and J’adore eau de parfum sets, the Ecrin couture eye makeup palettes and prestige skincare sets will be available from 1 November at all Dior Beauty Boutiques and Counters, and online at shop.dior.com.sg,the Dior Beauty Online Boutique.
