The wait is officially (almost) over for fans of Urban Decay AND Game of Thrones.
The countdown begins, as Urban Decay’s Game of Thrones-themed makeup collection makes its way to Singapore, and land in your boudoirs in no time.
Based on the best-selling book, Game of Thrones is watched by millions over the world and regarded by many as one of the best shows to have graced the small screens.
The limited edition range is inspired by the characters of Westeros (the fictional continent the series heavily features), as well as key places and characters of the HBO series. This collection will include an eyeshadow palette, brushes, lipsticks, eyeliners and highlighters to help you recreate Thrones-inspired looks.
The 3D palette takes front and centre stage, with 20 stunning shades for you to choose from. Fun fact: there is a pop-up Iron Throne that really brings a whole new meaning to the 3D palette. The palette is divided into four sections, each representing a major house:
- The Lannisters with gold metallics;
- Starks with the smoky mattes;
- White Walkers with icy, cool shimmers; and
- Targaryens with jewel-tone shimmers.
With these, you are not short of choices.
The Mother of Dragons Highlight Palette features three brand-new shades:
- frosty pink called Drogon;
- golden nude called Viserion; and
- metallic bronze called Rhaegal.
Other than the Vice Lipsticks that come in four creamy, pigmented shades and the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Game of Thrones-inspired colours, the Lip & Cheek tint is another outstanding product from the collection. It comes in a red hue and packaged in a small tube, resembling a vial of dragon blood.
Finally, the brushes are modelled after siblings Jon Snow and Arya Starks’ swords. A smaller one made for precision like Arya’s Needle, and the larger one a nod to Jon’s Longclaw.
Riding on the fervour the last season will bring, we can expect that this limited edition collection will sell out fast.
The collection will be launched officially on 9 May at all Sephora stores, online on Sephora.sg and at the Urban Decay freestanding store at Ngee Ann City B1-32.
