The new Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Amplified is a dream of high intensity lip colour to take you effortlessly from day to night.
Wasn’t it Gwyneth Paltrow who blithely said, “Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kick-ass red lipstick.” We couldn’t agree more – nothing quite adds a dash of high-glamour drama to your look than a quick slick of well-chosen lip colour.
The key, of course, is finding just the right trusty lipstick that can stand up to the job. How many duds have we dutifully tried and tested that have smudged, streaked and caked their way through our daily lives – the meals, the meetings, the glasses of wine?
We believe Shu Uemura’s new Rouge Unlimited Amplified steps up to the plate with its impressive rich, creamy texture and deeply pigmented formula. The colour is deeply intense and bold, and the feel of it on your lips is luxurious – absolutely a dream of a lipstick.
Japanese Pigment Technology
Crammed with at least 135 percent more pigments compared to its original Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited range, the Rouge Unlimited Amplified features a new mega-loaded pigment technology that is the result of a long collaboration with leading Japanese ink manufacturers.
This super saturated lip colour goes on effortlessly, and stays on at full intensity, thanks to a special cushioning oil and powders that allow for smooth colour dispersion of the ultra-fine pigments.
Special luxury ingredients like Japanese tsubaki oil make sure your lips are moisturised and cared for throughout the entire long-wearing experience, and doesn’t dry out and become cakey from repeat application.
Dream Palette
Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Amplified is available in two sumptuous textures – rich, creamy satin in 10 shades, and luxurious velvety matte in no less than 23 shades. The reds are seriously mega-watt siren alarms, but you can also choose to go for deeper hues of burgundy and plum, or fresh slicks of rose and corals.
The original Rouge Unlimited range is also available in four textures – ultra-thin, layerable satin sheen and matte for buildable coverage; sheer shine pop colour for sheer coverage; and high shine lacquer for high coverage.
With the mind-boggling range of at least 34 reds and 155 tailor-made shades, we’d dare say you’re well-covered.
Available from 2 September 2019.
