Dior Beauty: Le Baume, the Multitasker

by Pressroom

Form meets function in Dior’s latest skincare superstar – a universal, unisex multi-purpose cream that comes in an ultra-compact and chic case.

Busy lifestyles call for all-rounder beauty products that are handy and versatile. Dior’s latest beauty offering, Le Baume wants to be The One that helps you to not just moisturize your skin but also repair your skin barrier. Its unique formula has a bandage-effect texture that forms a protective, invisible veil on your skin, and is suitable for not just your face, but even your lips, hands and body. Its formula even adapts to different skin types, including sensitive ones:

  • Centella asiatica extract repairs and soothes
  • Squalane, jojoba oil and shea butter which contain essential fatty acids such as omegas 6 and 9, enable the skin’s lipid levels to be reconstituted from the outside, preventing dehydration
  • Glycerin nourishes by acting as a humectant to attract water into the deep layers of the epidermis
  • Hyaluronic acid hydrates by forming a breathable (non-occlusive) layer on the skin’s surface, to plump, smooth and enhance

Nourishing upon application, the cream texture is quickly absorbed into the skin, without any oily film. This is especially useful when reapplying on the go; when we are out and about, our skin barrier is subjected to everyday external stressors such as temperature changes, UV rays, pollution, and allergens. With that in mind, Le Baume comes in a handy size that is travel-friendly, and decorated with the iconic logomania motif borrowed from couture. That spirit is embodied by the four ambassadors chosen to show the versatility of Le Baume: South Korean pop artist Jisoo from Blackpink, tennis champion Emma Raducanu, South Korean actor and singer Cha Eun Woo, and Nigerian model Nonso.

Embrace the energy of Le Baume, available in stores and online.
