The new Longines DolceVita x YVY is steeped in the equestrian world of leather and bridle.
Longines’ passion for the world of horses and riding dates back to 1869 when the Swiss brand created its first equestrian pocket watch, followed by a chronograph in 1978 which was favoured by jockeys for its ability to time performances down to the second.
In 1912, Longines began its first official partnership with a show-jumping event in Lisbon, and has since continued its timekeeping association as a major partner of equestrian sports all over the world today.
It is only natural then that the brand has launched new DolceVita x YVY models referencing their beloved equestrian world of leather and bridle – featuring double straps in beige leather, brown and black with rivets.
Longines has upped the glam factor by teaming up with Zurich-based design company YVY, which creates red-carpet worthy accessories for its famous celebrity clientele.
Available in two sizes to cater for both men and women, these elegant pieces feature the distinctive rectangular timepieces dressed with impeccably finished leather straps reinforced with metal detailing.
