Omega starts the countdown to “Paris 2024” with an exclusive edition of the Seamaster Diver 300M.
In just under a year’s time, the world’s top athletes will congregate in Paris for the XXXIII Olympic Games to aim for gold. But before that, Omega, the Official Timekeeper of the Games since 1932, is starting the ball rolling with a special edition of the Seamaster Diver 300M. The new 42mm timepiece will be available in the watchmaker’s boutiques in none other than the host city of Paris.
Crafted from stainless steel and 18K MoonshineTM Gold – OMEGA’s very own yellow gold alloy – the design is a nod towards the journey to Olympic gold. Subtle yet striking, the use of the highly fade-resistant hue on the bezel contrasts perfectly against the white ceramic laser-engraved dial in matte finish, with polished waves in positive relief, and a single dot of Super-LumiNova at 12 o’clock. Special touches include the use of the Paris 2024 typography in the inscription of numbers in the date display at 6 o’clock, and a Paris 2024 emblem on the central seconds hand.
The Seamaster Diver 300M “Paris 2024” Special Edition marks OMEGA’s 31st time as Official Timekeeper. To commemorate this historic moment, the caseback features an inlayed 18K MoonshineTM Gold medallion bearing the distinctive element of the Paris 2024 emblem, polished against a laser-ablated background with “Paris 2024″ stamped on. The iconic Olympic Rings in stainless steel are polished on a frosted structure, completing the Paris 2024 emblem.
The event-defining look continues on the wrist: A dedicated Paris 2024 NATO Strap comes with a subtle Paris 2024 print – choose from 4 different colours on a white background. Switch easily to a Quick Change rubber strap in either blue, white or red, or the original stainless steel bracelet, thanks to Omega’s patented Quick Change system.
True to the spirit of athletic excellence, this Seamaster Diver 300M adheres to the highest standards of precision and performance by way of the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8800 that beats within it. Tested and certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), this exclusive creation meets the stringent level of quality Omega holds itself up to.
