The King of Diamonds conveys the everlasting emotion of love with a new iteration of the timeless Midnight watch collection.
Harry Winston watches are never merely time-telling instruments; they are works of art that apply the House’s gemstone expertise into collectible timepieces. Joining the Winston With Love collection that had us mesmerized by the way these gems spelled L.O.V.E in all its wondrous forms (L – Light; O – Obsession; V– Vow; and E –Eternity), is a series of five timepieces set to win hearts.
With the House’s distinct Midnight watch design as the canvas, the new luxury 18K white gold timepieces feature mosaic-tiled mother-of-pearl dials marked with the collection’s L.O.V.E. signature. The lettering is formed by rare, brilliant-cut diamonds, and in one special limited-edition design, with colourful precious gemstones.
Echoing the same colourful vivacity and symbolic meaning as the jewellery designs in the collection, the watches come in 5 different colours. From passionate red and bold orange to vibrant yellow, eternally elegant purple and classic white, the colour schemes extend from the dials to matching alligator straps. In true fashion of the King of Diamonds, the red, orange, yellow and purple editions each feature 162 brilliant-cut diamonds, and 1 emerald-cut diamond. Set against the rich colours of the dials, the diamonds are complementary yet spectacular.
The white edition stands out in the line-up; besides an array of dazzling diamonds, the dial features luminous gemstones – 47 yellow sapphires, 42 amethysts, 37 rubies and 36 spessartites, to be exact, spelling out each letter of the word “LOVE”.
