Loewe reunites with Kyoto-based ceramic studio Suna Fujita for a dreamy Holidays collection
Enter the fantastical dreamscapes of Loewe’s Holidays collection created in collaboration with Japanese ceramicist duo Suna Fujita. Playful and imaginative, each creation in the second collection features creatures from the deep oceans to the wide meadows, and even outer space.
Loewe’s artisans translate their craft – including that of intricate leather marquetry – into Suna Fujita’s whimsical scenes in aquatic palettes, onto much loved silhouettes of the brand: the Pocket bag is embroidered with a Suna Fujita submarine; an octopus and a squid dance around Flamenco and Hammock bags; a whale swims across the Puzzle and Pebble Bucket bags. Bunnies and hamsters adorn signature bags in earthy and verdant hues, interpreted in embroidery, graphic print and crystal on the collection’s small leather goods, straps, pouches and soft accessories.
Loewe’s holiday campaign celebrates boundless imagination and craft. To welcome the cosy festive season, the iconic Puzzle and Flamenco bags are presented in new materials including tactile deerskin, vibrant knit and metallics, while soft nappa calf leather and shearling add texture to outerwear. Statement coats, puffer bombers and workwear jackets contrast with fluid dresses, a sleek Toy line in silver nappa, and the feminine Petal Bow shoe in metallic calf or rhinestones.
