Loewe celebrates the new year with a limited edition capsule collection featuring Studio Ghibli’s well-loved characters and landscapes from the animated film “My Neighbour Totoro”.
Captivating the young and old alike since 1988, the whimsical tale is one of the friendship between two sisters and the playful woodland spirits they encounter, with a note on female empowerment and the importance of nature to humankind.
The collaboration marries the boundless imagination of childhood and harmony with nature featured in the film, with the exceptional craftsmanship of the Spanish luxury house.
You’ll find Totoro’s friendly furry face rendered in marquetry onto several Loewe’s signature styles such as the Puzzle bag and the Hammock drawstring bag. Other beloved characters featured include the playful dust bunnies “scurrying” across the Balloon bucket bag and Heel bag.
