Dior’s Autumn-Winter capsule collection is a playdate you don’t want to miss.
Dior’s Autumn-Winter 21 collection “Dioramour” is an invitation to escape to a whimsical wonderland. Maria Grazia Chiuri plays with heart-shaped cutouts, black and white checkered prints, and bold accents or splashes of red in the ready-to-wear pieces, bringing to mind fairytales of familiarity.
The imaginative collection features white denim pieces with the “D-Royaume d’Amour” print, Dioramour knee-high and ankle socks paired with maryjane shoes and Dior Addict sneakers adorned with “D-Chess” checked patterns. The striking black and white motif punctuated with a tiny red heart can also be seen on everything from bucket hats and silk scarves, to outerwear and mini dresses, as well as different cuts of tops, bottoms and even underwear.
Bag lovers will find themselves spoilt for choice with several collectible house icons fashioned in the wonderland theme. Innovative savoir-faire presents itself in the beloved Lady Dior and contemporary Caro bags with a new heart-shaped cannage rendition designed for this capsule, while the book tote in various sizes make their appearance in designs characteristic of this capsule.
For those seeking a subtler but no less charming interpretation of the theme, the collection also includes leather accessories and fashion jewellery featuring the prevailing heart motif. A red lacquered open heart paired with a smaller heart in gold finish adorns a matching set comprising drop earrings, a necklace, ring, bracelet and hairpin, all signed off with the emblematic CD initials.
