Shoes are never just shoes in the world of Roger Vivier; each creation is a work of art, from the inspiration to the execution, and the presentation. One of Monsieur Vivier’s passions was for collages, an artistic technique that creates whole new shapes by assembling different cut-outs. A passion that developed in his later years, the Maison’s founder used coloured paper in his two-dimensional collages to approach colour, contrast and texture, combining elements of fantasy with his unique silhouettes and styles from different decades. Some of his most beloved designs such as the Belle Vivier, Virgule, Choc or Jewel Heel, are featured in these Collages.

In a tribute to Monsieur Vivier’s unique spirit of creativity, the Maison reaches into its rich archives to spotlight the outstanding collages of Monsieur Vivier in an exclusive pop-up – “Les Collages de M. Vivier” – at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands from 29 August to 11 September 2023. 

Explore the curiosity cabinet of Maison Vivier, imbued with the cherished codes and artistic flair that is renowned of the brand. A pair of oversized golden scissors takes centrestage – a symbol of dedicated craftsmanship, and the bridge between Monsieur Vivier’s legacy and the vision of creative director Gherardo Felloni. Collages hang in gilded frames, layered with geometrical and coloured elements, while mirrors form a giant kaleidoscope that showcases the bags, shoes and accessories from Roger Vivier’s Fall-Winter 2023 collection.

There’s more to look forward to at the pop-up event: A limited edition capsule collection featuring the Love Mules and Belle Vivier Voyage Tote in an embroidered net fabric representing the Signature Monogram of Roger Vivier. Step out in style with the casual, airy editions at the event.
