The latest Spring-Summer collection, “Shades of Wonder”, captures the enchanting charm of nature’s wonders through the metamorphoses of the ever-evolving Serpenti house icon.
Mood 1: Explore the Emerald Garden
The nuances of emerald infuse new energy into the metamorphosis of Bulgari’s irresistible Serpenti icon the first mood of the collection.
Bold artistry is the signature of the Serpentine Pouch in teal topaz soft shiny python skin. Combining its soft on-trend shape and the sinuous snake body metal top frame flawlessly, this creation draws inspiration from the Serpenti necklaces of the 1960s, and elevates it with a luxurious new touch of exquisite python skin. The ultra-soft touch of the leather is achieved through a completely manual process including a drying phase – after the tanning – with tight humidity control, as well as an aniline treatment and a final polishing step with a cloth, which enhances and brightens colours.
Also in shiny python skin, the iconic Serpenti Forever Top Handle bag is dressed in a shade of forest emerald reflecting earthly treasures and the glamour of enchanting emeralds. A timeless piece versatile enough for any occasion, it features the “pitone roccia” pattern – the natural scale motif of the python skin.
Luxurious yet easy to wear, the recently launched Serpenti Maxi Chain East-West bag returns with a new grainy calf leather body in the seductive Forest Emerald shade. Its elongated East-West construction is infused with jewellery-inspired details such as the chain handle and the snakehead closure encrusted with gem scales.
Finally, the nuances of this regal shade also refreshed the rounded and versatile Serpenti Forever Ellipse bag (emerald green), the seductive daywear icon Serpenti Cabochon Maxi Soft Matelassé bag (jade green), and timeless Serpenti Forever Top Handle bag (emerald green).

Immerse in glamour with the Serpentine Vertical Tote and the Serpenti Forever Shades of Gold bags that showcase Bulgari’s creative and original workmanship and contemporary treatments of calf leather, ranging from golden nuances to the vivid shades of amethyst – an ode to the sparkling gems and precious metals of Bulgari’s jeweller palette.
The Serpenti Forever bag in gold Crystal Dust Suede elevates the iconic model of the range with 10,700 crystals in three different sizes, assembled over 16 hours, one by one, conjuring up the richness of a scintillating jewel covered in diamonds. The multi-sized crystals are first positioned on different boards to create the wished pattern, then covered with an adhesive foil. The motif is then transferred on the suede base where the crystals are soldered through a heat press carefully to avoid damage. Once the panels are assembled, the craftsman hand-sets the crystals on the edges, ensuring that the bag is literally covered in “gold dust” down to the smallest detail. The updated version of the signature snakehead closure with “diamond-cut” workmanship features a grainy metallic texture shimmering like a snow-set diamonds and is framed by hexagonal.
Also in Crystal Dust Suede is the Serpentine Vertical Tote Shades of Gold bag, one of the latest additions to Bulgari’s snake family. Its vertical tote shape is infused with the sensual flair of its snake
handles, striking the perfect balance between essential lines and the sinuous moves of the serpent. 6,400 crystals dazzle on its body, assembled by hand over 12 hours. The artisans need to harmonise the different sizes of the crystals and flawlessly combine the different shades in order to achieve the mesmerizing dégradé effect.
The sparkly Serpenti Forever Top Handle Shades of Gold in Camo Crystal Suede displays more than
20,000 crystals in Starlight Gold, Light Gold, Bronze and Shiny Copper, handset over 18 hours on exquisite Python Skin, blurring the boundaries between leather goods and jewellery.
Similarly luxurious but with a touch of warm cuddliness, the Serpentine Pouch in Ivory Opal Shearling invites one to enjoy moments of comfort and cosiness. The ultra-soft feel of the bag is achieved by the use Merino Shearling, part of a circular recycling process in which the wool is used for shearling products while the skin is treated as nappa leather. Topped by the sinuous snake-body shaped metallic frame, the fluffy style comes in a small size with an optional leather strap to enable multiple ways of wearing.
Subtle glam underscores a glowing interpretation of calf leather named Liquid Metal, lighting up the medium Serpentine Pouch and the Serpenti Cabochon Maxi Matelassé in Antique Gold with a modern ultra-light grainy effect that takes one from day to night effortlessly.
Even more subtly bedazzling are the modern, gem-inspired color treatments of classic calf leather seen on Bulgari’s daywear icons – the Serpenti Cabochon in Vivid Amethyst Craquelè Calf Leather with its textural, natural creases and slight shimmer, the Serpenti East-West Maxi Chain in supple yet resistant Vivid Amethyst Metropolitan Calf Leather, and the casually alluring Serpenti Forever in Sheer Amethyst Calf Leather.

A new shape features in the collection’s third mood; the Serpentine Top Handle bag is a new shape combining a structured body with a sinuous design.
Its sculptural body with rounded contours balances the supple lines of the snake body-shaped metallic top handle, celebrating the curvaceous outline of the serpent’s captivating moves that show off its sensuality. Available in soft and feminine Primerose Quartz, Foggy Opal and Truly Tourmaline smooth calf leather, it features a single functional internal compartment completed by a detachable leather strap that enables different ways of wearing – from hand to shoulder-carry through crossbody.

“Great Wonders” that define this mood come in the Textile Collection featuring Bulgari’s emblematic colours, aesthetic motifs and sources of inspiration. Retracing the stages of founder Sotirio Bulgari’s adventure from Greece to Rome passing through Naples and continuing to St. Moritz, the creative motif “Sotirio’s journey” animates with retro posters and pastel colours timeless silk twill scarves along with the versatile shelley style. Bulgari’s aesthetic rigour regins in the geometric and graphic design of the “Wheel of Sun” motif, a modern interpretation of the ancient symbol, spanning from colourful shelleys to silk scarves. Original evolutions of Bulgari’s Logomania animated by sweet bunnies add a playful twist to the collection while new interpretations of
the emblematic Divas’ Dream fan-shaped pattern display Bulgari’s creativity.
Similarly, the Eyewear Collection that spans from fascinating Serpenti models and iconic Bulgari Bulgari Aluminium styles to exquisite Le Gemme creations, is a distillation of jewellery-inspired details, skilled artisanal techniques and innovation.
Squared acetate frames are seen paired with the sensuous curves of the Serpenti Viper sunglasses the Serpenti Vipermesh sunglasses with the graphic microscales metallic mesh on the temples, inspired by the highly contemporary Serpenti Viper jewellery collection. An optical version with an alluring cat-eye acetate frame and blue light filter lenses is also available.
