Trends come and go, but rock-and-roll lives on forever. I thought studs and spikes were a trend that would pass but I was wrong. Valentino has successfully hit the “Refresh” button on the Rockstud Spike season after season, and we can’t seem to look away.
It’s tempting to associate the Rockstud Spike with an edgy, even flashy attitude. But to do so would be understating the versatility of its design. Renewed in different colours and textures in each season, it’s quite the chameleon, blending in with various outfits on different occasions.
The devil is in the details. Featured here is the small Rockstud Spike in Azure metallic nappa leather with tone-on-tone stitching. The edges of the twist lock closure are consistent with the design of the pyramid studs, and the detachable top handle blends in perfectly with the bag when used as a crossbody.
