Bag Talk: Bottega Veneta Mini Pouch

by Emmeline Ong

Petite work of art.

The Mini Pouch is a charming bag that evokes vintage vibes and yet, at the same time, is so forward in its conception. The soft folds embrace a clamshell closure that closes with a cushiony thud that is satisfying to the ears, as it secures its contents. Buttery soft and smooth inside and out, the bag holds more than you would expect it to – I could even fit a foldable umbrella in, on top of my essentials.

The length of the leather straps are adjustable to wear in different styles and detachable if you would like to use it as a clutch, making it perfect for day-to-night.

The Pouch has become one of the signature bag styles headlining Creative Director Daniel Lee’s Bottega Veneta. It plays with texture and shape wildly, and its design enhances the buttery soft leather it’s made in. The Mini Pouch, seen here in Nero and Mustard, is retailing at SGD 2,180.
