Going into the finer details of the bigger picture. Here’s a sneak peek of what we have lined up for 2025
As we round up the year, I’ve been thinking about our raison d’être, and what luxury means today. We all define luxury a little differently, and that’s what makes it interesting. It’s how conversations begin – ones we want to have with you.
This year, we began what we call #ACuratedTake. A series that lives in various forms – short and sweet on our socials, and a little more personal here – where we share what we tried and liked, and why.
In the new year, we’re going deeper behind the scenes, and closer to subjects and people, to share stories that spur you to spend more time on luxuries in life that we might have taken for granted or missed. And, most of all, look at how the ways we eat, play, live, travel, and consume, can come together.
After all, luxury is having the time and space of mind to be fully present; to notice the finest of details, and appreciate how they came to be; to know who makes the things we love, and why.
For some of us, it could be recognising the human touch and ingenuity in good design that exists even in the most mundane of our daily lives, improving both form and function.
Or perhaps, it could be relishing every bite, smell, touch, and experience; uncovering the hidden, forgotten or new, and exploring ways of seeing, doing, and just being – at home, and abroad. To do all that, we’d need a mind and body well enough to follow through.
For others, it could be delighting in the intricacies of telling time – the art and science of what moves the wheels of time, and the memory it represents of a given time, place, or person.
And with that, the luxury of choice: consuming what we want, when we choose to, without letting it consume us.
As we enter our next season, we’d love for you to come closer and explore with us, life’s luxuries in its different forms.
