Cartier’s Panthère Collection returns with a powerful double act
Cartier has unveiled a new iteration of its emblematic Panthère de Cartier collection, doubling down (literally!) on the feline that has long defined the Maison’s creative identity.

The latest jewellery pieces feature not one, but two panthers poised face-to-face, their confrontational design both sleek and sculptural.
The panther first appeared in 1914 as a spotted motif on a Louis Cartier watch, but it wasn’t until Jeanne Toussaint, appointed Creative Director in 1933, that the creature truly came to life. Under her direction, the panther stepped into three dimensions and became a fully realised symbol of strength and seduction in Cartier’s jewellery language.

This new collection stays true to that legacy. The panthers are richly detailed, with piercing gemstone eyes and subtly expressive features, continuing Cartier’s naturalistic tradition while also embracing a more contemporary, streamlined aesthetic.

Designed to sit close to the body, the pieces include double-head torque necklaces, bangle bracelets, and rings—all structured yet flexible, exuding boldness while still remaining wearable.
Available in yellow gold with octagonal black lacquer spots or in white gold paved with diamonds and set with onyx, the designs are both luxurious and tactile. Each creation stunning by itself, or worn as matched pairs, the stackable pieces invite personal expression while remaining unmistakably Cartier.
