This Christmas, give a gift that gives.
Spreading joy and love is at the heart of gifting during the Christmas season. This spirit of giving is alive in a special collaboration between Daughters Diamonds and Dr. Claudine Pang, founder of “Eyecare Without Borders”, an initiative that began with the goal of providing free eyecare and eyewear to underprivileged societies in Singapore and some developing countries.
The outbreak of Covid-19 might have halted the initiative but not the spirit behind it. “Eyecare Without Borders” is currently working with Food Bank Singapore and Beyond Social Services to provide needy families with necessities in the form of the iCare Joypack. Worth $88, the package contains a month’s worth of 20 food and essential items.
To extend the gifting spirit of the iCare Joypack, Dr. Pang is partnering Sarah Tseng, designer of Daughters Diamonds, to launch an exclusive jewellery collection “Promises”, featuring multi-hued sapphires and diamonds. Each creation sold from the limited edition 50-piece collection, promises an iCare Joypack to a low-income family.
Aspiring to incite joy and hope to the wearer, the “Promises” collection features curated sapphire gemstones of five colours, each representing a different promise. Stack them, as you will.
The precious gems are then crafted locally in 18K gold with ethically sourced, cruelty-free diamonds.
Give a gift that gives with the limited edition “Promises” collection, available exclusively at Daughters Diamonds Jewellery in Paragon from now to 25 December 2020. If you are keen to give more, you can also donate directly to the iCare Joypack fund.
