Bvlgari’s Polychroma high jewellery collection is a dazzling combination of juicy colours and cultural references
Bvlgari has unveiled Polychroma, its most ambitious high jewellery and watch collection to date — a chromatic spectacle that celebrates diversity, craftsmanship, and the evocative power of colour.
Rooted in the Greek words for “many” and “colours” and nodding to Rome’s rich heritage, Polychroma embodies a bold, multicultural vision through 600 masterpieces, including 250 new creations and an unprecedented 60 “millionaire” pieces.
At the heart of the launch is the “Gallery of Wonders,” a showcase of five one-of-a-kind high jewellery masterpieces that push the boundaries of gemstone artistry.
Highlights include the Cosmic Vault necklace, inspired by Rome’s architecture and featuring a 123.35-carat Sri Lankan sugarloaf sapphire, and the Celestial Mosaic, centred on a 131.21-carat Tajik spinel—among the largest and finest in the world.
Creative Director Lucia Silvestri draws from Mughal art, astral symbolism, and nature to create pieces that are as technically complex as they are emotionally resonant. The Polychromatic Bloom necklace, a vivid trio of rubellite, peridot, and tanzanite, captures this ethos with joy and elegance.
Notably, the collection revives the historic Trombino ring with Essence of Yellow, showcasing a rare 45-carat fancy vivid yellow diamond cut in an unexpected Asscher style—further proof of Bvlgari’s daring approach.
More than a showcase of precious stones, Polychroma is a vibrant manifesto—a kaleidoscopic vision where colour becomes narrative, and craftsmanship meets cultural storytelling.
Beyond jewellery, the maison extends Polychroma into eyewear, fragrances, and ultra-exclusive bags, underscoring its commitment to translating its iconic DNA across métiers. CEO Jean-Christophe Babin lauds the collection as a pinnacle of Bvlgari’s identity: audacious, colour-driven, and unmistakably Roman.
