Summer beckons. Snapshots of an idyllic summer of sun-drenched afternoons and slow living showcase the looks from Valentino Escape in the form of fond, intimate memories made at a dreamy seaside villa.
The vision of summer is translated into the collection’s ready-to-wear pieces: from flowy kaftans and chemisiers to fluid dresses and skirts, and of course, bikinis and swimsuits. Two colourful archive patterns, each with their unique characteristics, make an appearance: the Valentino Starfish which appeared on the brand’s Spring/Summer 2015 runway, and the Valentino Chevron 24 from Spring 2019.
The two striking motifs are specially eye-catching on the accessories: the Starfish motif animates tone-on-tone totes and is hand-embossed in bright pink shades on espadrilles, while the multi-color Chevron adorns bucket bags and eclectic slides. The offering continues in countless iterations, from pattern-emblazoned headbands to hats, mini bags and more.
Effortless in execution, the capsule collection, available online and in-store, is an invitation to live in the moment, and escape into sweet simplicity.
