Onitsuka Tiger was founded in 1949, in Kobe, Japan. Its heritage and expertise in combining fashion with sports has shone through each collection for over the past 70 years.
The AW2020 season marks the birth of another contemporary collection: Onitsuka Tiger kids, the first collection of shoes, clothing, and accessories for children. Parents who are fans of the brand can finally wear matching Onitsuka Tiger outfits with their mini-mes.
The concept behind this collection, “For Uncommonly Cool Kids”, features stylish unisex items and the brand’s signature Onitsuka Tiger Stripes.
Shoe models include kids’ versions of the iconic Mexico 66™ slip-on, the Admix Runner™ (a fusion style that combines archival elements and modern designs), the Serrano™ (a classic track-inspired running shoe), and Fabre™ (a basketball shoe first introduced in 1975). The Serrano™ TS and Admix Runner™ TS models even have graphics to help your kids learn left from right!
In the apparel department, dress your child in an MA-1 jacket with a tiger motif and go all out with a bold neon-coloured tracksuit with sidelines. Alternatively, choose a t-shirt with a big logo, paired with damaged stretch denim pants from the collection.
The Onitsuka Tiger kids collection is now available online, and in Onitsuka Tiger Takashimaya S.C., Jewel, and Suntec City stores in Singapore.
