Personality meets practicality in LV’s latest star of a bag.
Themes of fluidity and neutrality permeate Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2021 collection, translating into roomy silhouettes that express boundless individuality. At the helm of the Women’s collection, Nicolas Ghesquière bucks the small bag trend and introduces the Coussin bag.
Geometric shapes and lines are featured in this roomy bag with three separate compartments crafted in supple, LV Monogram-embossed lambskin, giving it a pillowy look that reflects its name (coussin is French for “cushion”). Details like an inner lining of contrasting colours and a mix of textures add androgyny to the design; the soft, puffy leather is paired with a detachable metal link chain and a wide fabric shoulder strap, making it possible to wear it on the shoulder, across the body or as a clutch.
Available in 6 colours and 2 sizes, there is one for every style you pursue. The smaller PM comes in classic Black, versatile Creme, vibrant Rouge, futuristic Silver, and striking LV Motion Green; while the larger MM size can be found in Black or Khaki.
