Fiamma had the newly empowered working woman of her time in mind when designing the shoe. To commemorate the Vara’s 40th anniversary, Ferragamo has chosen a global cast of 7 different women to front their new digital initiative, #FollowVara, which includes both photographic and videographic content. Strong, independent, and dynamic individuals who dress for themselves, these international influencers embody the spirit of the Vara. The year-long campaign will see these women – each with her own creative style and distinctive personality – showcase the Vara in their daily outfits on their respective social media accounts.
