Clare Waight Keller’s Chloe woman is free-spirited, and effortlessly chic. In several of her press interviews, Keller spoke of giving women the lightness of being, the sense of movement, translated through feminine, light and fluid dresses. An attitude and code that Keller held close during her six years with the House.
For her final collection, she invites us to fall in love, as we swirl through a rabbit hole of psychedelic colours of cool shades of pastel mint, peach, lilac, and land on earthy brights of ochre, tobacco and vivid scarlet.
What do we like: the “butterfly wing” collars, the layered lace trim slips, the dreamy organza dresses, and the cloud embroidery on tulle. And the true to Wonderland prints, of whimsical flowers, butterflies, mushrooms, stars.
We land firmly with the brogued Mary Janes, a sensible juxtaposition to the romantic clothes. An art of mixing that Keller leaves us with, as she embarks on her next adventure.
